Overview

Several health issues that we face in our everyday lives are often due to airborne bacteria, airborne particles such as dust, fungi, pollen, microbial cell or insect fragments, biological volatile organic compounds, such as toxins and chemicals present in the atmosphere. Our laboratory has developed an extensive set of analytical methods that can identify potential airborne hazards to human health.

Some of our common testing services include:

Airborne pathogens (Mycobacteria, Yeasts & Moulds, Pseudomonas spp., Streptococci spp.)
Airborne particles (PM 1.0, PM2.5, PM 10)
Chemical substances NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, H2S VOC, CH4, O3, HCHO, Combustible gases, Heavy Metals such as Hg, Pb, Cd and many more

Examples of testing services:

Indoor air quality (offices, nursery schools, medical clinics, mass catering venues)
Air quality of air conditioning and ventilation systems
Air quality in food processing - production areas (factories, warehouses, production lines)
Mechanical air emissions (engines, exhaust fans)
